PROMOTING EQUITABLE COVID-19 RECOVERY FOR BLACK COMMUNITIES IN SOUTHERN ONTARIO



Strategic Innovation plan

Client: the Black Health Alliance.

Spring 2022 - Spring 2023

With Friday Futures (incl. Liin Nur & Patricia Wong).

This strategy project created ways to support streamlined, accessible, ethical, and culturally-relevant processes for health policy, advocacy, and delivery organizations that work with and for Black communities. This was to strengthen community recovery from (and resilience to) COVID-19 as well as its knock-on effects on other health needs.

Client: a local NGO offering low-cost counselling.

Business Design & Leading Innovation class project
Spring 2019

This foresight-informed strategy plan supported this client in finding alternative ways of funding that drew from their existing resources and ethics and amplified their ability to deliver impact into the future.

OUT OF A CLEAR GREEN SKY: Online Dialogues surrounding Commercial Passenger Air Travel and Sustainability post-COVID



Major Research Project
(aka: Masters thesis)

December 2019 - August 2020

Advised by Dr Suzanne Stein & Alexander ter Kuile.

This capstone project explored the future of post-COVID long-distance air travel as relating to ecological sustainability.

Notable for combining the two research methods of VERGE and CONCEPT FAN, this project explored the major challenges to adapting both airlines and their customers towards prioritizing the planet.
